The FHN wrestling held their first meet of the year at home against the Timberland Wolves. To begin the night, freshmen and JV wrestlers had their meets simultaneously. After the two teams were done, a short break was taken to set up the mats for varsity. After the three teams finished their matches, Timberland won with a score of

“We have a lot of new people who are going into the match and they get pretty scared because they don’t have much experience.” A.J Lozada

Coach Sean Fowler, on JV’s night said “I feel that we did not have a good showing., but it was our first meet of the year. Hopefully it was a learning experience for us as a team.”

On the topic of varsity, Coach Fowler said, “Same thing. Both teams went out there and we went to see what they were going to do instead of taking it to them. Up and down the line with freshmen, JV, and varsity.
