5-23 V Soccer vs FHC [photo gallery]

On May 23, the FHN varsity girls soccer team traveled to Francis Howell Central to play the Spartans. The winner of the game would be named district champions, and would play Pattonville at Francis Howell North on Tuesday, May 27.

Both teams had many close opportunities to score in regulation time, neither were able to put points on the board. After two 40 minute halves, and one 25 minute sudden death soccer, FHN came out as winners after junior Bailey North kicked in a cross from senior Erin Kelly for the game winning goal.

The Knights will now play Pattonville at FHN on Tuesday. Game time has yet to be determined. (photos by matt krieg)
