In the past, seniors at FHN have been able to purchase “Senioritis” t-shirts from the school. This year they weren’t available, so senior Jake Cornett took matters into his own hands.

“I wanted to make these shirts because we’ve had them in the past. It’s kind of a joke that seniors always say,” said Cornett.

The shirts will say “Seniorit15” on the front and “We stopped caring about a week ago,” on the back. They are black with green font to represent the senior class color.

“I saw an idea on Twitter and thought it would be funny and cool.” said Cornett.

Cornett already ordered the t-shirts, so they are no longer available to purchase. He had 28 people buy them, and he sold them for $13 each.

“I think it’s funny because it’s an internet trend. I’m going to wear it every day. I’m never taking it off,” said senior Cody Kennedy, one of the 28 who purchased the shirts.

The shirts will be delivered on Nov. 7, so be on the look out for seniors who stopped caring about a week ago.
