Hockey Kicks-off Regular Season

After defeating Francis Howell at Gold Cup 6-3 last Thursday, the Knights Hockey team looks to start regular season play against John Burroughs High School. The game will be played

at the Rec Plex South hockey arena at 6:45 p.m. this Saturday. After the Knights went 7-13-1 last season in the regular season, finishing last in there division, the squad is ready after there preseason win to face a John Burroughs team who went 8-8-1 in the regular season. Will the Knights put last season behind them this year or will they go another season with a losing record? We will find out this Saturday. Three Cross Country Runners Qualify for State

The Knights Cross Country team will have three runners compete at Jefferson City for the annual MSHSAA Cross Country State race on Nov. 8. With both the girls and guys teams qualifying for Sectionals for the second straight year this year, now three of those runners will advance to State; junior Chase Powelson, senior Ariel Kirkpatrick, and freshman Heidi Hauptman. DECA Jump-off Thursday

The annual DECA Jump-off is this Thursday at 6 p.m. going until 8:30 p.m. The DECA Jump-off consists of two basketball games played between four teams of students and staff of Howell North. The event will take place in the large gym and will pit the freshman/sophomore team against the junior team and the senior team versus the staff team. During halftime of the Jump-off, Fellowship of Christian Athletes will hold a pre-game prayer before the second game.
