The Knights fell to the DeSmet Spartans 4-9 on March 28. DeSmet scored their first two points within the first two minutes of the first half. Senior Mike Butterfield scored FHN’s first goal seconds after DeSemt’s. Alex Caldwell scored the last two points of the half, the first about a minute after Butterfield’s and the second at the very end of the half.

FHN went into the second half leading 3-2. DeSmet quickly scored and tied the game. Butterfield gave the Knights a fragile lead around four minutes in. The Knights held off the Spartans for another three minutes before DeSmet scored again. The Spartans scored six times in the last eight minutes, bringing the final score to 4-9.

The Knights defeated the Rockwood Falcons earlier in the night 9-8. They next play on April 2 in Fenton against Howell. (photos by ashleigh jenkins)
