after their 16-6 victory over Farmington in their first game of the Midwest Classic. The team averages an impressive 8.4 runs per game, over those five games. This should be a great game featuring two teams in top early season form, so be sure to fill the hill on Thursday.

Tennis vs FHC

Also on Thursday April 2, the boys tennis team will play at Francis Howell Central. This is a great chance to see one of the best tennis players in the state, senior Matt Dunn. Dunn has gone to the state three out of the four years he has been in high school, and has committed to play at the University of Nebraska at Omaha next year. This match should be especially good being a rivalry game , and it is definitely worth checking out.

“ The seasons going great so far, our team looks very strong this year, and I hope to win districts later this year,” junior Pratyush Sontha said.

Girls Soccer Parkway Showcase

On Friday April 3, the varsity girls soccer team will begin competing in the Parkway Showcase held at the Lou Fusz Soccer Park in Creve Coeur. There first game will be Friday afternoon against Kirkwood. The soccer team is currently undefeated through their first three games and look to continue this streak. Because of their stellar record FHN is on top of the GAC south division. This success is owed in part  to the Knights great defense. Over the three games the Knights have only let in one goal. If you want to get away from your family this Easter weekend go checkout the Lady Knights soccer team.
