Girls varsity volleyball went up against The Timberland Wolves on Tuesday, Sept. 29. The girls gave up both matches ending the game 1-2. The girls kept pushing through, and made some great hits.

“I thought Timberland did a good job of being aggressive,” Kaitlyn Early, the girls head volleyball coach, said. “We didn’t do a good job at returning the ball but, some of the girls put forth a really good effort.”

Early also mentioned that some of the girls stayed aggressive throughout the whole game and tried to keep the rest of the team motivated.

“We didn’t talk or show effort,” junior Ann Heitmann said. “We felt like we were going against each other, but we got most of our hits in and if we didn’t get our hits they were deep balls.”

The ladies started off strong in the first game, leading for quite a while. After a few solid hits from Timberland the Knights fell and lost the match 15-25.

“We need to  have better communication,” senior Meg Mitchell said.“We all need to put in more effort overall.”

The knights second and final match score was 12-25.
