Varsity Football vs Timberland 10/2
On Friday Oct. 2, the varsity football team will play Timberland for the seventh game of the season. FHN looks to improve on its 3-3 record against a 2-4 Timberland team. The Knights are coming off a big win against a subpar Troy team. The Knights scored 42 points against the Trojans, whose average points allowed is roughly 39, so don’t really buy into that score result. Also Timberland has played more teams with winning records than FHN. This should be a very close game between two very evenly matched teams. It should also be very interesting because Timberlands field is notoriously bad, and there is a chance of rain friday. So go drive all the way out to Timberland, in the rain, for a very close and entertaining game.
Cross Country at Parkway South Invitational 10/3
On Saturday Oct. 3, the cross country team will run at the Parkway South Invitational at Living Word Park. Honestly not much is known about the cross country team, their a special breed of people who enjoy running. Apparently they dress up before running? Ninja Turtles and bananas have been seen. Go check it out for the rest of us,just to figure out what happens.
Varsity Soccer vs FHC 10/6
On Tuesday Oct. 6, the varsity soccer team will play FHC away. This is a rematch of the game back on Sep 10 at home. In that game FHC dominated the Knights and won by a score of 3-0. This game is all about revenge for the Knights in a rematch against their bitter rival. This will hopefully be a bright spot for FHN, who have had a less than optimal season. FHN will probably be 5-9-1 by the game against FHC (they play Troy on Oct. 2, and to put it nicely, their pretty bad). If the Knights turn it around against FHC, they have a strong chance of turning the season around and ending with a winning record. Next week go out and support the team, because they could definitely use the assist.
