Volleyball vs FHHS 10/13

On tuesday Oct. 13, the varsity volleyball team will play their last home game of the season. This is senior night for the four seniors on the varsity team. They will end their home career against one of their most bitter rivals, the Francis Howell Vikings. Therefore they will not end their home career with an easy test. In the two teams previous meeting the Vikings beat the Knights in two games, 25-12 and 25-13, so they weren’t very close. That being said, FHN is not a team that goes quietly, and especially in their last game. Go support your volleyball team for their last game.   

Soccer vs FZS  10/15

On thursday Oct. 15, the varsity soccer team will also be playing their last home game. Like they volleyball team they will also be having their senior night, but their are only three seniors on the soccer team. For their last regular season game at FHN, the Knights will be playing the currently 9-5-1 FZS Bulldogs. Again like the volleyball team, the soccer team ends their home career with a tough test. The Knights did look impressive recently in their win against FZW. This game looks to be an exciting toss up.

Football vs Washington 10/16

On friday Oct. 16 the varsity football team will also be playing their last regular season home game. Again like the other teams it will be there senior night. Also like the other games this will be a toss up as both teams have had about equal seasons, when you consider records and strength of schedule.

It is a shame that all of these games are during a time where the last thing many of us want to do is be at school. If you’re not on vacation and sitting at home you should go to these three games for the seniors who have fought for four years and this likely is the last time they will get a chance to play their sports.
