Gold Cup
The annual Gold Cup took place on Saturday, and as usual it did not disappoint. Even though FHN lost by a score of five to four, it was a very entertaining game. There were multiple fights and a down to the wire finish. The highlight of the night however, was the FHN student section being kicked out of the arena.
Cross Country State
On Saturday three runners competed at the cross country state championship. Junior Bryan Chac had the best finish at 103 then junior Jake Oppenborn came in very close behind at 106.
Swimming State
Nathan Denningmann and Peter Lucido did very well at the state championship this weekend. Denningmann finished 35th in 50 yard freestyle, and fourth in 100 yard backstroke. Lucido finished first in one meter diving, and third in overall diving.
