Boys Basketball vs Parkway West

On Wednesday the varsity boys basketball team will play at home against Parkway West. The Knights are coming off a loss the night before against a very good Troy team. This next game will be no easier against the 9-2 Longhorns of Parkway West. West is ranked seventh in the area by the St.Louis Post Dispatch. I’m sad to say that this will probably be a blowout, but the good news is that you can watch it live at FHNtoday.com/live.

Girls Basketball at the Warrenton Tournament

This week the varsity girls basketball team has been competing in the Warrenton tournament. The first game was played on Monday, January 11, and was against O’Fallon Christian High School. FHN won by a score of 50-38. The next game is Wednesday against Duchesne. The Lady Knights are off to another solid season with a 6-5 record. And for another year the team is being driven by senior Austine Pauley. Paulley who averages about 13 points per game is going to be looking to try to beat a 12-1 Duchesne team on Wednesday.

Wrestling at Timberland

On Wednesday, January 13, the varsity wrestling team will be competing against Timberland. The game will be at Timberland and begins at 6:00 p.m.

The wrestling team is off to one of its best starts in recent memory. This past weekend the team competed in the GAC tournament where two wrestlers took fifth and one took third in their respective weight classes. Before that the team beat Fort Zumwalt West on January 6, by a score of 45-24. Before that they were at the Lindbergh tournament where two wrestlers finished third, one fourth, one fifth and one sixth in their respective weight classes. This is been a very good season so far and they look to continue that against Timberland on wednesday.
