At 6 p.m. on April 30, registration for Prom began. Students entered the hall to find twinkling chandeliers and fairy tale projections at the front of the room. Students went to their tables, one of 60, and waited for dinner. The options for dinner included Chicken Picatta, Flat Iron Steak and a vegetarian option. Also available to students was two photo booths and a professional photographer for professional pictures.

Last year, the dance was in the Grand Hall at the St. Charles Convention Center with a theme of Brazilian Carnival. This year, however, the dance was held in the North Hall and the theme was Fairy Tale.

As tradition holds, the junior delegates planned Prom.

“I love working with the junior class delegates,” Junior Delegates Sponsor Marissa Cohen said. “They’re an amazing group, and they’re full of great ideas.”
