HOSA

1.) Who is the sponsor?

A: Matt Riffee

2.) Where does HOSA meet?

A: We meet in the loft of the commons.

3.) When do you have meetings?

A: We usually have them every other Thursday.

4.) What kinds of events does HOSA have?

A: We did the Polar Bear Plunge, the blood drive, state competition, national competition, we adopted a family, the hygiene drive and we took a field trip to Children’s Hospital Simulation Lab.

5.) What are the costs or fees associated with the club?

A: It’s $20. $10 goes to national dues, $5 goes to the state and $5 goes to FHN.

6.) Why does HOSA meet?

A: It’s a group for individuals interested in the healthcare field or medicine, and we try to orient our events and our goals toward that career area. We like to give back to the community, our school and the surrounding area and try to provide opportunities for our members to try to pursue healthcare-related activities.

7.) How are meetings run?

A: They’re run by our club cabinet with agendas, updates, future events and results of past events.

8.) What is the overall goal of the club?

A: It’s pretty much the same thing as question six.

9.) How long has the club been at FHN?

A: This is our second year.
