It had been exactly one year since the St. Louis Rams (it still pains me to type the name) finally left the River City.

On Jan. 12, 2017, the Los Angeles Chargers joined the forlorn Rams in the nation’s second-largest media market, moving just over 100 miles north via Interstate 5 to do so.
