On Aug. 21, Francis Howell North students and staff filled the bleachers around the football field during 6th hour to witness the Total Solar Eclipse. The district provided students with eclipse glasses to protect their eyes from the sun. Joe Breen gave live updates about the eclipse in the moments leading to the actual eclipse. The full process of the eclipse lasted approximately 90 minutes. The eclipse reached its peak of 99.9% totality at FHN at approximately 1:18 p.m.. (Photos by Alex Rowe, Savannah Wandzel and Sam Cary)
