Q: What weight class are you in?

A: I wrestle heavyweight, but I will be wrestling 195 soon.

Q: How many years have you been wrestling?

A: I have been wrestling for three years, but my sophomore year I tore my ACL.

Q: Why did you decide to wrestle?

A: I decided to wrestle because I like the mentality of the sport, and I thought it would make me a better athlete in other sports.

Q: What is the best part of wrestling?

A: The best part is the team. The wrestlers, coaches and even the stat girls. We all work together to make each other better.

Q: What are your goals for this season?

A: My goal is to be the best wrestler I can be and to enjoy my last year being on the team.

Q: How would you describe your wrestling style?

A: I’m more of a bottom wrestler, and I love taking shots on my opponents.

Q: What is one move you are trying to improve the most this season?

A: I am trying to improve my single leg this season.

Q: What would you say your best move is?

A: My best move is my double leg.

Q: Do you plan on continuing wrestling in college? Explain?

A: No, but I’m planning on coming back to visit the team once I’m off to college.

Q: Who motivates you the most when it comes to wrestling?

A: My teammates because after I see them out there giving it their all, I want to go out and do the same. I don’t want to let them and the coaches down.

Q: What position do you play?

A: I play shooting guard.

Q: How many years have you been playing basketball?

A: I’ve been playing for almost my whole life. I’d say about ten years.

Q: Who motivates you the most when it comes to basketball?

A: Definitely my dad.

Q: What’s your most memorable moment from basketball?

A: When I broke the school record for blocks in a single game against St. Charles High.

Q: How do you prepare for a game?

A: I get hyped up by listening to really loud music.

Q: What is your favorite part about basketball?

A: I love the amazing players and coaches. I also really enjoy my teammates.

Q: Do you plan on continuing basketball in college? If so, where?

A: I’m really not sure yet. I really hope so. I’m not sure where I want to go yet.
