The Lady Knights Basketball team’s top offensive leaders were juniors Gabby Delarue and Hannah Wilson, as they both scored 249 points this season for the Knights. Freshman Isabelle Delarue lead the team defensively with 148 rebounds. The Lady Knights basketball season ended on a loss in their first district game to Hazelwood West. They had an overall season record of 6-20.

“What I’ll miss most about this season is probably going to be the people,” junior Patty O’Leary said. “Obviously we spend a lot of time together so we have all gotten really close. We are going to miss our seniors a ton so it will be different next year. There’s nothing like coming off of a season with such a close, tight-knit group of kids and knowing that we have a lot of those kids coming into the future.”

With the head coach position going to Dawn Hahn halfway through the season, the girls had to get used to a new coaching style and practice regimen. The Lady Knights have three players, Katie Richardson, Grace Stevenson and Maggie Hillman, graduating who have been playing varsity for several years, so they will lose their experience and talent going into next season.
