The spring sports season has finally arrived and with it, the beginning of the girls soccer season. The coaches were put into a rough situation after tryouts due to the low turnout and were forced to cut the freshmen team. Fortunately, with the incoming players showing some promise, three freshmen, Brynna Rutherford, Courtney Area and Julia Kristensen were able to make the varsity team.
“I was really nervous at the beginning, because I didn’t know how I was going to play with the other girls, but I’m super excited because I’ve become really good friends with everyone and I hope we get to grow and develop as a team,” said Rutherford.
