What was your record for the season?

My record for the season was 8-0

What has gone well for you this season?

Audrey and I play really good together. We have good communication and encourage or lift each other up when we make a bad hit.

What is your favorite thing about this season?

I really enjoy being around the other girls on the team. They make every practice fun and enjoyable.

How long have you been playing tennis?

This is my third season playing tennis. I have played sophomore, junior, and senior year

How have you improved throughout the years?

My skill level has improved a lot. I never played tennis before my sophomore year and I ended up on varsity my senior year.

What are some things that you wish went better this season?

I really don’t think anything could have gone better. This was a great season and I loved it.

What skills have you improved on this season?

My biggest improvement is being able to aim the ball instead of just hitting it down the middle. It makes it a lot easier to win points.

What are some of your strategies when going into a match?

Strategies I have are having confidence when I play. I play so much better when I know I can do it. Communication is also key when playing doubles. Audrey and I have to let each other know who is going after the ball.

What is your favorite thing about tennis?

The girls on the team. They just make it enjoyable and fun.

What will you miss most about high school tennis?

I will miss the girls the most. I have made some close friends that I will miss a lot.
