Red Cross representative Stacy Hudson came to North on Jan. 30 to help CSLP (Community Service Learning Program) plan their annual Red Cross Blood Drive.
CSLP has been busy setting up committees and spreading the word about the blood drive.
“We’re hoping it is a huge success,” sponsor Jana Reiter said.
Reiter along with Chairperson of the blood drive, Melanie Wilson, is hoping to get more 16-year-olds involved because they still need their parent’s signature to give blood.
“There will be flyers, posters, and incentives to get the word around and get students involved,” Reiter said.
The blood drive will take place on March 28 during the day in large gym. Any student can sign up. The volunteers will be given a snack after the drive before they return to class.
