Parents: Over the past several months I have taken numerous stealing reports here at FHN. The items primarily stolen are IPODs and cellular telephones. Since these items are difficult to recover, my recommendation is that your students leave them at home.
Thank you.
Officer Patrick Fitzgerald
St. Peters Police Department
School Resource Officer FHN

FHN Parents: Please review the following attendance procedures concerning our policy regarding excused absences:

VERIFIED ABSENCE/MAKEUP PRIVILEGES:
In order for an absence to verified/excused, the parent/guardian is asked to report their child’s absence within 48 hours by sending a written note with the student upon his/her return to school.
The note should contain the following information:
1. Full name of student
2. Date
3. Reason for absence
4. Phone number for confirmation if needed
Students that do not have notes within the first 48 hours of their return to school will be classified as unexcused and may be assigned a full Saturday detention as stated in the our school code of conduct.
Please contact the FHN Attendance Office if you have any questions.

Summer school registration forms and information are now available in the guidance office. Counselors have given forms to students during individual registration if they failed required core classes this year. However, frequently these forms do not make it home to parents. They tend to evaporate once they leave our offices. I have attached summer school information to address any potential questions. Credit recovery will be held at FHN.
Thanks.
