On Oct.30, the Knights football team lost 42-26 to arch-rival Howell Central, ruining the Knights’ chance at making the playoffs. Running back Larry Edwards, as well as the rest of the team, was disappointed by the loss.
“We weren’t playing as a team,” Edwards, a sophomore, said. “We came in overconfident.”
Even though the Knights’ season is over, they are still going to work hard for next season. The football team is also looking for more people to come try out next fall.
“We need more people to come out and play,” tight end Adam McDonell said. “[We need] more to come and work out during the off-season.”
