Baseball tryouts begin with good intentions

Spring sports season is finally beginning as athletes prepare for the first day of tryouts. Tryouts will be taking place all week for the spring athletes which includes the Varsity baseball team. At tryouts, they will work to create this year’s team.

“I’m expecting to have fun and have a wonderful season,” senior and first time North player BJ Kuntz said.
Although he is retired, the team will continue to be coached by Bob Dunahue and Clif Brandon. The coaches and the boys will practice for the next three weeks, including over spring break, to prepare for their first game. The season will be lead off with the Troy Baseball Classic held March 23-28.
