Golfers dominate FZN in second match of season

Despite wet conditions and strong winds, the FHN boys golf team defeated Zumwalt North on March 25 with a score of 66 to 190. Although it was only the second match of the season,

coach Les Hager felt that his players did very well.

“[The players] were reasonably consistent,” Hager said. “The scores were not inflated and they were reasonable.”

With all the wet weather, the team has had to adjust to playing on wet ground and not so favorable conditions. The team hopes better weather will bring better scores.

“It’s only the second match of the season,” Hager said. “When we get warmer weather, the stores will get better too.”
