Cheating isn’t the easy way out

cheatpic3262010It seems that throughout life we have ways of finding of getting around things that we don’t want to do or just seem plain boring, and that’s okay. If it’s fair. You see, one of our ways that we can get out of doing things that we don’t want to do is cheating. It seems like a good idea at first, but when you think about it, you’re just really hurting yourself.

Even if it seems harmless or just easy to get by on, cheating can get addictive. Think about it, if you do it once and it’s easy, what’s stopping you from doing it again? If you get into the habit of repetitively doing it, you’ll soon end up with a snowball of laziness and irresponsibility that will only end up hurting you later in college, or even life in general.

Whether it would be math homework or a game you are playing, cheating doesn’t get you anywhere except into trouble and I still do not see why so many students and people would do such a thing to themselves. I would say, if you want to get somewhere in life you can’t just take the easy way out, you actually have to do something to achieve it, no matter how hard it can be. You can’t always depend on someone to be there and be your crutch for you all of your life, and if you don’t learn that now, you’ll only have to learn the hard way later.

So if you think about it, ironically, the ‘easy-way-out’ isn’t cheating at all, it’s actually doing what your supposed to do the honest way.
