Recently, I discovered a park that I had known about for a long time but never went to; Creve Coeur Park.
“I go to quite a few parks,” junior Trey Davenport said, “Creve Coeur Park is by far my favorite one of all.”
The park has various things to do for the warm, summer weather that is ahead. When you enter the park, a concrete trail surrounds the 320- acre lake on the right, with a mini beach on the north-east shore.
“Yeah it’s pretty wild, the beach is a little small but it’s the closest thing to floridia you can find around St. Louis,” junior Taylor Mink said.
You can also visit the “Dripping Springs” waterfall on the east side next to the trail. The park has picnic spots equiped with barbeque pits and picnic tables, but if you don’t feel like cooking, then you can visit the Creve Coeur Lake House located on the north- west shore.
The park opens at 8 a.m. and closes a half hour past sunset, so if your bored during the summer, come and check out the park!
