Monday, Nov. 15 the girls swim season will start. Tryouts begin at 8 p.m. until 10 p.m.
“I think it will be interesting since we have no seniors,” coach Beth Phillips said, “Hopefully we improve from last year.”
Tryouts for girls swimming are different than most sports.
“We haven’t had to cut anyone in a while,” Phillips said “Most girls come out and quit after the first couple days if they aren’t really dedicated. After two weeks the team is usually decided.”
With hope of not having to cut anyone the team expects a good season.
“I’m excited to hang out with the team and have a fun season just like last year,” swimmer Abbey Grone said.
