Varsity soccer kicks off season against Warrenton

After making it to sectionals last season for the first time in years, the Varsity boys Soccer team begins the new season tonight in a game against Warrenton at home. The boys are confident that they will prevail over their opponent.“I think we’ll win, ” junior Nate Terry said. “We’re practicing really hard.”

Much of the boys’ confidence stems from a rigorous practice schedule and the fact that they won against the team last year.

“I think we’re going to win because if we play our best we’re really good,” junior Jason Michalski said. “[We have] highly skilled players and a lot of training.”

The boys remain confident in their team as the beginning of their season starts. Last year the boys won Districts and then lost in a Sectional game. This year, the boys are confident that they can make it all the way.

“If we stay on top of what we do, [the season will go] good,” junior Chad Moore said.
