I saw it on Facebook

My favorite thing to look at when I get on Facebook is the pictures. They’re what draw a person’s attention in most.

The absolute best kind of pictures are the one’s people post from the latest party they were at.

I love seeing pictures of teenagers with beer and alcohol bottles in their hands, especially when they lift the cans and bottles up into the frame of the picture. It makes them look so cool, and I just stare in awe wondering why I can’t be as awesome as they are.

Sometimes though, the kids start trying to be discrete by blurring out the blue Bud Light can. It really works and leaves everyone questioning what that flaw in the picture could be. Only the really intelligent people who use their inductive reasoning skills and have a keen eye can put the pieces together.

Even better than just the pictures is when people also post statuses about getting so drunk and not remembering a thing. It makes that person look so awesome, so cool, so divine.

I don’t understand the kids who don’t party and post it online. I mean, honestly, how could a person get by in life without having a picture of themselves on Facebook with their eyes half closed and a beer in their hand? It’s high school after all. A time of partying, looking stupid and not caring. And finding out where you belong in society.

Love and Nargles,

Alex

Hehehe Nice. I may be getting ready to celebrate my 10 year high school reunion this year (YIKES!) and though Facebook didn’t exist when I was in high school, I can relate in theory…. I was talking to a classmate one day, and the conversation when something like this…

    Classmate: Do you drink?
    Me: Nope.
    Classmate: Smoke?
    Me: Nope.
    Classmate: Party?
    Me: Nope.
Classmate: Well then what do you DO for fun??

As if the only way to have fun is to go out and drink and party. Uh…. no thanks. Even now at the age of 28 I’ve never drunk (though I don’t condone those who are OF AGE and are responsible about it), never been to a wild party, and still, I have somehow found a way to have fun. Imagine that!

This is the perfect point to make. Immaturity is not cool.
