The varsity baseball team started the season on March 20 against Ft. Zumwalt South in the Troy/Buchanan Tournament. The Knights won that game by a score of 6-3. Since then the Knights have won three games and lost one on their way to a 4-1 record. Their only loss so far came against Desmet on March 21. This start is a very promising sign from a team that only won six games last season.
“Our team has been doing a lot of bonding over spring break. We don’t play as individuals; we play as a team,” varsity catcher Jacob Kalusniak said.
