2/22 JV Girls Basketball vs. FHC [Photo Gallery]

On Wed. Feb. 22, the JV Lady Knights faced a tough opponent in FHC. The Lady Knights won the game 30-21. With this win, it brought the girls record to 5-9.

“Towards the end we finally got it together and had more patience and for a while we were like ‘Oh we’re up by a little, we don’t need to try that hard’ but towards the end we were like ‘Okay, we want to win by a lot like let’s just keep trying’,” sophomore Kelly Burris said.

After the first period, the score was 4-5. The second period was still very close but the Knights had gotten the lead, 12-11. The girls pushed ahead in the third quarter to get the score to 21-15.

The Lady Knights next game will be on Friday, Feb. 24 at Fort Zumwalt West at 4. That is their last game of the regular season before Districts on Feb. 25.
