Coach Sean Fowler Excited to Start of Boys Cross Country Season

Sean Fowler is currently one of the assistant cross country coaches for the team. He has been a coach on the team for 11 years.
Q: What do you enjoy most about coaching?
A: I enjoy the kids, being outside, running with them, and there’s lots to enjoy.
Q: What made you decide to coach cross country?
A: I enjoyed it in high school and decided to try it out, and they needed a coach.
Q: What is your most memorable experience as a coach?
A: We had a really competitive team one year competing for state, and one of the kids passed out when he got to the finish line.
Q: What are you most looking forward to this season?
A: Seeing our runners compete, how they progress, and how our upperclassmen finish up.
Q: What has your team done to prepare for this season?
A: Some of our athletes got together and practiced during the season, and our team worked out at the school.
Q: How do you feel about the team this season?
A: I am excited to see how the team will compete and how the season will go.
Q: How have things changed from last season?
A: All our seniors are gone, we have runners taking new roles.
