“The Addams Family” Cast Starts Rehearsals for the Play

Since August, Drama director Kim Sulzner and the Drama Club officers picked the show “The Addams Family” for the fall show. They have been planning and getting ready for the show since they picked it and they were preparing for the show by learning their lines and songs before the show started.

“Some of them already know there lines and others almost know them all,” Sulzner said.

Some people already chose their character, but keep a list of the roles they wanted just in case they didn’t get their first choice. Some people like sophomore Megan Miller had chosen Wednesday Addams as one of her first choices for the character. Miller has been doing drama for years and likes coming back because of her friends and acting in shows.

“It’s really fun to act and be a different character and escape who you are as a person,” Miller said.

The main cast is going to be 15 main characters in the show with 25 background characters who are ancestors. Ancestors are people who are already dead in the show, but come back to haunt. There will also be a band performance in the show.

“The show will go great and it’s going to be a lot of fun for everyone,” Sulzner said.
