Mario
When you get a pet it can be fun and they can bring joy and happiness into a household.
“We live in a one story house with two tabby cats that we see as part of the family,” senior Grace Pilch said.
One cat is named Mario that they got about five or six months ago.
”We got him from a family friend that found him under her back porch,” Pilch said.
According to Grace, Mario is either always sleeping or very hyper, there is no in between with him. They’ve had to do many things to keep him in one place and not run around so he could get used to the house.
”We had to put him in a play pen so the other cat couldn’t fight with him,” Pilch said. ”We had to put him in the bathroom so he could get used to one room at a time.”
Even though Mario is considered part of the family, not everyone likes him, mostly her dad.
”My dad doesn’t interact with it, my mom gives him attention as well as me and my sister. Me and my sister are probably the most attached to him,” Pilch said.
Not everything with a pet is easy, there can be some problems, whether that be money or just general taking care of it.
”Challenges would be money and getting used to having two of them,” Pilch said. “Money because we have to have two different kinds of food, two different kinds of litter boxes, and two different water bowls. You also have to keep up with the food which costs money.”
