Board of Education Candidate Interviews

There are six candidates vying for the two spots in the upcoming Francis Howell Board of Education election. Voting will take place on April 5 Here are their thoughts on the current state of the district and what they’d like to see happen.


Adam Bertrand is a process improvement consultant with an undergraduate degree from University of Missouri in business with minors in economics and political science. He also has an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. Rick Rice is a business owner and substitutes for teachers and paraprofessionals in the Francis Howell School District. He has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Missouri and a bachelor’s in computer science from Lindenwood University. Mike Hoehn is a residential appraiser with a bachelor in science from University of Missouri Columbia in forest management. He had three children with his wife that have all graduated from Francis Howell High. Hoehn currently has a grandson in the district.
