FHN EXCALIBUR YEARBOOK & OTHER FHN JOURNALISM INFORMATION

PICKING UP 2020-21 YEARBOOKS:

The yearbooks have arrived!

We will be hosting a drive-thru book distribution event on Saturday, Sept. 4 from noon to 4:30 p.m. in the front of FHN. Click here for a flyer with all of the details on how things will work.

PURCHASING YOUR 2021-22 YEARBOOK: 

2022 yearbooks can be purchased NOW, so don’t wait! 

The yearbook is currently $55 and will increase in price to $60 just before Fall break. You can purchase a 2022 yearbook in three ways:

  • Online with a credit or debit card right now through Balfour Publishing at the following link (scroll down to “yearbook and ads”). If ordering online, you will receive a receipt from Balfour Publishing Co. to the email address you enter when ordering within 24 hours: CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE YOUR 2022 YEARBOOK
  • In person: bring $55 or a $55 check made out to FHN to Mrs. Kiel in room 131 OR in the main office. 
  • Send payment and order form via mail. Address the envelope to: FHN Publications (Attn: Jordyn Kiel), 2549 Hackmann Rd., St. Charles, MO 63303. Please include cash or check (made out to FHN) and this completed order formYou’ll receive a receipt via email within a week of payment. 

 

Nameplates and clear protective covers are also available for purchase. When ordering in person, an order form will be provided to you, and you can indicate any desired extras there.

    You can also open, download and print the order form here if you’d like to get a head start. You only need this form if ordering in person with a check or cash or mailing your order in.

    A few details about the yearbook that make it one you don’t want to miss out on: 

    • Covers all FHN students, staff, clubs and sports.
    • Covers the school year by the week, month and season.
    • Covers everything from community events, large school events and academics to pop culture, trends, national news and more. 
    • Covers a diverse group of students and groups.
    • Is a high quality, full color, award winning, student produced 320 page publication. 

    Interested in a payment plan to purchase your 2021-2022 yearbook? 

    If you know you want the yearbook but are unable to purchase it up front, we are offering a payment plan this year. To find out more or to get your plan started, email adviser Jordyn Kiel at [email protected].

     

    WANT TO EARN A FREE 2021-22 YEARBOOK?: 

    You should have received (or will be soon!) a mailer from the FHN Journalism Department, which included a Club’s Choice fundraiser order form and booklet. By selling 10 tubs of cookie dough with that form, you can get a free 2022 yearbook. There are more perks available for selling above that amount.  If you didn’t receive the packet or need another order form, email yearbook adviser Jordyn Kiel at [email protected]

    You can also access the ordering system online. Buyers can text “PAYNOW” TO 74590 to make a secure payment. You can also create an account for your buyers with the same direction (text “PAYNOW” to 74590). The School Code to enter is FHNP12.

    DEADLINE FOR TURNING FORMS IN: Sept. 7. Completed order forms and payment can be dropped off in the main office or to Mrs. Kiel in room 131.

    SENIOR YEARBOOK PORTRAITS:

    2022 Seniors: Did you get your portraits taken by Wagner Portrait Group this summer? If not, pay close attention to messages from us via email, FHN enews and FHN Media social media for our in school make-up photo day. 

    You’ll get informal ID photos taken at school in the Fall, but your senior portrait for the yearbook is separate. You can also contact Wagner Portrait Group to schedule your session in their studio anytime during the Fall semester. You can contact them via phone at either of these numbers: 314-567-5900 or 1-800-444-7986.

    We have space for students wanting to work on the yearbook, newspaper, website, video, social media and photo teams– there’s a place for you! You can lead, write, design, film edit, curate content, illustrate, take photos and more. Most importantly, you can be part of a robust, award winning, welcoming team. To be eligible, you’ll need to take one of our introductory courses.
