On Nov. 8, the Francis Howell North cross country team went to Jefferson City for state. Cross country had nine people make it to state.
“I was really proud of every body that made it. They worked hard and deserved it.” Coach Brooke Roe said.
The team had two girls make it to state Diana Prost and Coleen Grone. They also had seven boys Nick Happe, Jordan Summers, Daniel Kirkpatrick, Zach Scholler, Thomas Curran, Matt Lane and Patrick seeling.
“It felt like exciting because it was my first time and Diana Prost was with me and we would run together on every race so it was nice having her. Plus she has experience.” Sophmore Coleen Grone said.
