Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II

From the beginning scroll to the end of the game The Force Unleashed 2 has almost everything any fan would want, adventure, mystery, and full of non-stop action.

This time around the story is more intricate than the last, taking all the events from the last game and adding a more evil and sinister plot to the storyline. With Starkiller dead who could you possibly play as throughout the game? Surprisingly you do play as Starkiller, but the real question is are you the real Starkiller, or just a clone of him. As you embark on dangerous missions throughout the galaxy you will see Starkiller asking the same questions himself on his journey to find out the truth.

Compared to the previous game, The Force Unleashed 2 has a better, more advanced game-play system than the last making game-play more fluid and easier to manage as you bash, kill, and even decapitate stormtroopers left and right. A new addition to the game also includes the ability to use two lightsabers instead of the tradition single lightsaber. By giving you two weapons, the range of hits and attacks you can do increase dramatically determining on how you use them.

One of the better highlights of the game is the cinematics. Since Lucasarts developed a way to use metal micro-beads to animate facial and physical movements on camera, they have incorporated this technology into the game to give it a more realistic look, among with all the other fantastic graphics that make it seem as you are watching a movie than just playing a game. Customization has also been a key factor in every game to make the player seem to have their own identity, and as you play through the game you will unlock apparel and different colored lightsabers to give yourself a unique look.

The only downfall to The Force Unleashed 2 is that the game is very short ranging only four different environments and eight levels total, and since it’s the Star Wars Galaxy the player would think we would go to vast worlds far away the story sadly takes us in a small circle. Other than length, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 is a must-have game for anyone ending up with a total of 4 out of 5 stars.
