Sophomores went down to the auditorium on Thursday, Jan 27 during their English II classes to see the class ring presentation. Once again, Herff Jones’ representative Jeff Rodenberg will tell students how they can create the class ring that will forever remind them of their years at North.
“I want my ring so I can remember highschool,” sophomore Kerry Moriarty said. “I will get the a soccer ball on the side.”
Students will place their orders in the coming weeks. In May there will be the Ring Ceremony where students will receive their rings.
“I think students initially enjoy a shiny new bobble, but [the ring] is one thing they can wear the rest of their lives,” Diane Fingers, FHN teacher who organizes the ring ceremonies, said. “Their yearbooks and diplomas will just be put up on shelves.”
