With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, I have decided that I am going to take this year in and embrace being single. No one ever said that you needed to have a valentine to be happy. I have some of the best friends a person could ask for, and I also have a great family.

February 14 is simply just a day, and that is how I am going to see it. I sit and hear people talking about how they are alone on valentines day and what a shame it is, I am also alone but I do not see it as a bad thing . It will not be a day that I will make a deal over, I will instead have a great day with friends and go on with my life as if it were a regular Monday.

So here and is where I ask you to join me in making the day a great day for yourself and if you have a valentine also make it great for them. Enjoy what you have and live in the moment but on the Feb. 15 continue with your everyday life as you normally would and just have fun.
