Rock, pop, hip-hop, dub step, or even reggae are some of the few music genres that exist in our world today. Each genre has its own kind of style and sound, but they all do the same thing. Depending on the rhythm and tone a song has, it will produce a specific mood for its audience. Songs can make you happy, sad, angry, or contemptful all based upon what instruments are playing at what time. Musical artists have mood targeting down to a science., and they know that music can be a way to focus yourself or release yourself.

I challenge you to experiment with the different types of music that are out there and find the one for you. Not everyone can say that they love classical music and it really brings a smile to their faces. No, everybody is indifferent. You may be an up-tempo kind of person or maybe you’re an oldies rock kind of guy, but the type of person (music wise) you are should not matter to anyone else but you. After finding your right music style and listening to it often, a hidden happiness will be exerted from you every day. You won’t necessarily notice the difference in a positive mood change but your friends and family surely will.  So go ahead and sing in the shower or bump to those fresh beats in that whip of yours to put a smile on your face.  Now go out and turn up the volume of happiness in your life.
