After six long weeks of practice, Intensified Theater classes’ hard work will finally pay off. They will take place on Mar. 4 in the auditorium. This year, drama teacher Jeff Tandler has decided to have his Intensified classes perform every hour to various classes instead of opening it up to everyone and having the show after school.
“There are a lot of people that won’t normally get to see the production that now have the chance so they might try to get more involved in what Drama Club does and then possibly come to more shows,” Tandler said.
For this production there are four One Acts with student directors and actors. Along with the actors and directors on stage, there are still the people that help get the show ready to go on (stage crew, make-up crew, props crew, etc.). The idea of One Acts had been based off shows in the past, but since this year it will be done in school Tandler had to choose a class that was very experienced and talented enough to pull it off.
“I’m really excited to wear pajamas and floaties all day during school,” junior and actress Sara Von Harz said.
