We are having an organizational meeting on Tuesday, September 13 at 2:30 p.m. and Wednesday, September 14 at 7:00 a.m. in Commons 10 – Mrs. Coil’s room. (pick one meeting time) We welcome anyone who is thinking about teaching preschool, elementary, middle, or high school – any grade, any subject. Seniors, Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshman. We participate in several activities throughout the year including a State Convention, National Education Week, Read Across America Day, Teacher Appreciation Day AND your own personal fieldtrip to job shadow a teacher once a semester. *Senior students will be participating in a college planning presentation through their language arts classes between the dates of September 6th and September 19th. They will be receiving several handouts at the time of the presentation, including a copy of the PowerPoint presentation. The same presentation is also available on the guidance office webpage, located on the FHN website. There will be two make-up presentations available for seniors to choose from, should they be absent on their assigned presentation date, or should they not have a language arts class this semester. These presentations will take place on Friday, September 23rd, during 2nd and 6th periods. Students can sign up to attend one of these presentations in the guidance office. Please contact Mrs. Vargas in guidance if you have any questions. 9/16 Vargas
