*The Speech Team is excited to bring home a 2nd Place Team trophy in the Oral Interp Division of the GREATER ST. LOUIS SPEECH tournament. This means that of 20+ area schools (and over the course of 4 months), our team has earned a significant amount of place and participation points in the categories of storytelling, prose reading, poetry reading, dramatic interpretation, humorous interpretation and duet interpretation. The first place trophy (in this division) was won by Eureka. This is personally exciting for me; as it is my first FHN team trophy and I’m sure exciting for Ms. Harper as it is her first team trophy as a coach.
Smitha Milli: 5th in Lincoln-Douglas Debate (Resolved: Individuals have a moral obligation to assist those in need.) Alex Callier: 3rd place in poetry reading (A collection of Taylor Mali poems) Matt Fennell: 2nd place in Dramatic Interpretation (An excerpt from “The Picture of Dorian Gray”). Our trophy and picture in the office for all to see. 1/25 Maher |

Online Registration Help Line 636-851-HELP (4357) 1/24 Woodrum *Online registration A clarification on several points for your students’ online registration process for next year’s classes. Over the last week, we presented this new, district-wide process to all students (through language arts classes). In addition to the following points, please consult with your students about the information they received, along with the helpful handouts that were issued to them to assist them in this process.
To log in to Infinite Campus, students need to do one of the following:
When registering their courses online, here are a few pointers that we shared with the students:
Starting January 31, we counselors will be meeting all students individually, to review their Infinite Campus printouts, to review graduation requirements, to ensure they have signed up for a full schedule and appropriate classes, and to answer any questions/make any necessary changes. The individual advisement process will last through February 17. stth
In the event that students do NOT log in to Infinite Campus and register for their courses online , they are at risk of not getting the courses they need/want for the next school year. We strongly encourage your students to take ownership of this process. Please remember that we counselors will be available to support their efforts during individual advisement.before midnight on January 25th We sincerely appreciate your patience throughout this new process and hope that you find these guidelines helpful. Please remember to go online and complete your registration for the 2012-2013 school year. Online registration closes at midnight on January 25th! 1/25 Faulkner *FHN will be hosting an ACT Cambridge Review Program for the April 14th ACT date.
