So I know this isn’t a super new trend but it is something that I have heard a lot about  recently. I don’t understand why people wear those balance bracelets. There is no way that those things work.  It is a piece of metal inside a rubber bracelet. You wear them and then you will never fall down because you are wearing your balance bracelet. I think that is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard.
They were saying that not only do you have total balance, but it relieves your stress and makes you feel more calm. Seriously? You honestly think that an accessory is going to do all of that? Does it bake cookies for you too? This just sounds like one of those things on the stupid info commercials that they come up with some crazy gadget for. And when they are about to tell you what their new product is they have a really bad actor who is struggling to do a task that no one ever has a problem doing. Then at the end of the commercial you think, wow maybe I should order it. So then you get all excited waiting for your new thing to come. You check the mailbox everyday and then when it gets here you try it out and then you think, this is the stupidest thing ever and it doesn’t even work.
The balance bracelet people are just setting you up to let you down. They  have a cool commercial with awesome background music. They pull a few people off the street to test it out so that they can prove it really works. They pull on someones arm and the person falls over. Then the person puts on this bracelet and the pull on their arm and all of the sudden they feel amazing and they have perfect balance. The only reason these people appear to be balanced is because when they pull on their arm a second time. They already know what is coming and their body  knew what to expect and how to correct it.
I saw a guy walking around and he had a balance bracelet on and I asked him if it worked. He said no. So I asked well why did you buy it. Well I  don’t know I just did. Then after  thinking this guy is so dumb why did he spend his money on something that doesn’t even work and he doesn’t even know why he bought it,  I then noticed that the little piece of metal that is in the bracelet wasn’t even there. So now he is just wearing a rubber bracelet, which looks dumb because  now it is just a piece  of rubber strapped around his wrist. It would be okay if it was one of those bracelets that you  buy for special causes that have words on them, but no its just a plain old piece of rubber.

Now I do think that if someone really tried they could make something that you wear that helps your sense of balance, but it is not one of these bracelets. If they were to  make something that your wear, it should be a belt or something you put around your waste, because you center of balance if in our mid section right around your belly button. If they could honestly come up with something that truly works and they  do  tests on it based on fact not random peoples opinions, then they could have a really good product, but until then these bracelets are just a piece of junk.
