On August 24, The Varsity football players took on Vianney High School for the knights first home game. Under the wing of new Varsity coach , Brandon Gregory, the knights fought for a win for the first game of their season. The Knights lost with a score of 20-39. Many believe that this was due to Vianney’s secret weapon Markel Smith who scored 4 touchdowns for the opposing team. Shot by Murphy Riley and Zack Eaton.
