All State Band

This Saturday FHN had fourteen students travel to Hickman HS in Columbia, Missouri, to go up against 1200 other concert band students and almost 400 jazz students.

We had 6 students make it to the final round of call backs which put them in the top 10-20 in the state on their instrument.  It was FHN’s best showing thus far and even though no one made one of the bands. I am extremely happy with our students preparation and dedication to musical excellence.

Brandon Vestal 2nd alternate Jazz Bari sax.  3rd over all
