This year Infinite Campus has developed an app that allows parents and students to have mobile access to students’ current grades.

“I’ve used the app since the beginning of the year and it really helps me stay on track with my grades and homework,” Sophomore Maleya Schmidt said.

The Infinite Campus app gives anytime, anywhere access to get your Campus Portal information from your mobile device.

“The app has helped me increase my grades a lot, it lets me know what I have missing and it makes my grades not as much as a surprise when report cards come,” Sophomore Hayley Penning said.

To get the app you must go to the Apple App Store and download the ‘Infinite Campus Mobile Portal’ app. Next you would launch the app and enter the district ID “HRMBNC” then sign in using personal login information. Doing this allows you to look at your calendar, schedule, attendance, to-do list, reports, and many other features.

“I think the app will make it easier for students to check their grades and keep track of them,” Science teacher Laura Montgomery said.

Not only does the app help students, it also helps the parents. Parents at FHN use the app to check on their child’s grades and when upcoming tests are.

“As long as the teachers keep it updated it gives me instant access to see how my kids are doing in school,” Jamie Gianopulos, parent of Sophomore Taylor Gianopulous, said.
