Pretzel Stop Changes Locations

pretzel
The finished product of pretzels

From outside of this place you notice a sweet smell you cannot place your finger on. When you look inside this place, you see men and women working intently on making their finished product. The location where the workers make this delicious product has recently changed. The place is called Pretzel Stop and the product is called a pretzel.

“We could not expand anymore at the location we were at before moving,” one of the family owners of Pretzel Stop Tony Lasello said.

Pretzel stop has recently moved to 1650 Jungerman Road for lack of space at the old location of Ford Lane. The addition of the new space Pretzel Stop has acquired put them in a new area where customers can reach the restaurant easily.

“We have received three times the business since the move to the new location,” Lasello said.

The influx of customers coming to the restaurant has required a need for more employees at Pretzel Stop. The need for more employees is only one of the “growing pains” Pretzel Stop has had from moving. The menu boards in the new interior part of Pretzel Stop are been a pain to set up for the employees. Also, the inside of the restaurant has not been able to open yet because of the amount of employees is not enough. These hardships have not stopped the product Pretzel Stop makes as being great.

“We are a completely different restaurant than the others,” Lasello said. “We are not a Taco Bell or Burger King type of restaurant.”

With a great product and a new location Pretzel Stop has been getting great business. The restaurant has even started selling a holiday themed shamrock shaped pretzel for St. Patrick’s Day. The St. Patty’s Day pretzel has not changed the usual pretzels delicious tastes.

“As long as we have a good product to sell, business will never stop,” Lasello said.
