9-28 Homecoming Dance [Photo Gallery]

FHN’s homecoming dance took place on Sep 26 in the large gym. This year’s theme was ‘Knights Under the Sea’. Decorations included dolphins, blue pillars, and a card board ship wreck. Live fish were in bowls on the tables in the multipurpose room.
“I felt like this years homecoming was better,” Junior Sarah Leonard said. “The decorations were sturdier.”
After crowning seniors Molly Kube and Raymond Che homecoming queen and king the winners for the hallways were announced. The seniors won the hallway decorations competition, the juniors took second, the freshmen in third and the sophomores in fourth. The music resumed for another half hour and the dance wound down.
“I was really proud people didn’t twerk to Miley Cyrus,” Junior Olivia Stuertz said. (photos by ashleigh jenkins)
